CHICKEN or SLICED BEEF SHAWARMA or ON RICE (halal)

Marinated Grade A halal chicken or sliced eye round halal beef, grilled with onions and served on fresh locally made pita or our seasoned Egyptian rice with tahini or garlic paste, fresh baby spinach, and sliced tomatoes. This item can also be served on a bed of baby spinach for the carb free or gluten free conscious.

EGYPTIAN FRIED CHICKEN (halal)

2 or 3 pieces of lightly fried chicken covered with Egyptian spices. Super light and flavorful!

GOULASH (Egyptian Spinach Pie)

Phyllo dough packed with fresh spinach, feta cheese, and Romano cheese and then baked to a golden brown. You can't eat just one!

KOFTA MEATBALL SANDWICH (halal)

Our Kofta is Grade A ground beef (halal) that is mixed with fresh cut parsley and other fresh herbs and spices. Breaded and lightly fried and served on pita or our seasoned rice with tahini or garlic paste with fresh tomatoes and onions.

KUSHARI

Classic Egyptian dish - Seasoned lentils, rice, and pasta, topped with garbanzos, caramelized onions a homemade tangy red sauce. Eat like an Egyptian with this dish!

SPICY RED LENTIL SOUP

Orange lentils simmered for hours with vegetables, spices, and fresh lemon juice and then blended into a creamy soup. A little spicy and served on our seasoned rice or with our homemade pita chips and lemon wedges.

TAAMEYA SANDWICH (Egyptian falafel)

Fava beans (not chick peas) ground with lots of dill, cilantro, parsley, mint, garlic, and spices served with tahini or garlic paste and garnished with fresh onions and tomatoes. Our Egyptian falafel has a distinctive green color and an earthy flavor because of the fava beans and herbs - very unique!

Lightly fried, spicy cauliflower served with a side of our homemade garlic sour cream sauce. Like cauliflower calamari!

Baked Eggplant mixed with tahini, lemon juice, and spices - smoky and delicious! Served with our homemade pita chips.

Small fava beans that are simmered for hours with lots of cumin, garlic, onions, and vegetables - like an Egyptian veggie chili. Served with our homemade pita chips or fresh pita bread.

'AMAR AL-DIN PUDDING

Apricot preserves boiled with a little sugar into a pudding, topped with a little coconut and golden raisins - light, refreshing, and not too sweet.
